A storekeeper is an individual charged with the responsibility of managing the daily activities of the store which includes sending out and receiving supplies as well as keeping proper inventory of the store.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle all store/warehouse related activities
Handle supplier interface, strengthening vendor data base, while maintaining and assuring high ethical relationships, both internally and externally.
Keep proper records of receipts, returns, supplies in a bid to ensure the accuracy of the inventory of the facility
Responsible for all shipping and receiving for the facility, including physically placing parts/equipment in the designated warehouse location
Shipping canceled and/or damaged items back to suppliers as appropriate
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED required
Capable of lifting heavy objects or materials
Able to multi-task effectively
Goal and customer service oriented
Good communication skills
