An office assistant is an individual charged with the responsibility of handling clerical duties in the office. This might include but not limited to receiving calls, scheduling meetings, proofreading, welcoming guests, and organizing files. You’re required to have top notch presentation and interpersonal skills as you would be in constant interaction with both external and internal clients.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving and welcoming guests to the office
Receive and direct incoming calls, emails, website enquiries and social media posts.
Create and handle communications between office members and clients
Organize files and correspondence
Schedule meetings, appointments and special events
Assist in resolving any administrative problems.
